Our Verdict on the TB Davies XTend+Climb ProSeries Telescopic Ladder
We’ve not had it for very long, but already we love the TB Davies XTend+Climb ProSeries Telescopic Ladder. Telescopic ladders are one of the most innovative products to hit the market in recent years, and the XTend+Climb is no exception. One of its core strengths is its heavy-duty construction, which means it’s designed to the maximum standards of safety, meeting the most stringent conditions of the modern construction site. This extra durability makes it an excellent all-rounder for almost any common task (assuming, of course, that the environment allows for proper setup and securing of the ladder). What’s more, its reduced weight and extendable construction means increased mobility and ease of storage, a quality that’s further enhanced by its padded carry handle. The design of extendable ladders also allow them to be opened and closed rung by rung, allowing for an increasingly precise deployment when using them.
But these are all general benefits of telescopic ladders – the XTend+Climb has its own unique characteristics that further distinguish it from its peers. Given its intended usage, almost every component has been precision engineered for maximum safety. It features reinforced nylon couplings for high impact resistance in unpredictable environments, and its slip-resistant rubber feet are specifically designed to keep falls and injuries to a minimum. Its anti-slip rungs ensure the safety of climbers when using the ladder, and its hardened anodysed finish makes it resistant to corrosion and other damaging effects from the elements.
All in all, the TB Davies XTend+Climb ProSeries Telescopic Ladder is a fantastic piece of engineering, and a worthy companion to any professional contractor or tradesman. It’s a brilliant package of strength, versatility and durability, all contained in a neatly ergonomic design – definitely well worth an investment, especially if you work in the construction industry.
