REVIEW: Heavy-Duty Mobile Steel Safety Steps
26/03/2014
It’s time for another product review here at Browns Ladders, where we get up close and personal with some of our most popular products. This week, we’re taking a closer look at our heavy-duty mobile steel safety steps.
Hard-wearing and ideal for industry
When you need a set of heavy-duty mobile safety steps you can rely on, Browns Ladders’ heavy-duty mobile safety steps are an ideal choice.
Our mobile safety steps are manufactured to order from tubular steel and are ideal for use in warehousing or racking environments and as they are available in a powder coated or galvanised finish they are also suitable for indoor or outdoor use too.
Our smaller steps, 3-6 treads, come with a 500mm tread width, while our larger steps, 7-16 treads, have a 700mm tread width. The treads on both the smaller and larger sizes are manufactured from robust, double-punched steel, offering extra grip and safety even when used outdoors in damp conditions.
Making safety priority one
Our heavy-duty mobile safety steps are available in a size to suit most situations and from 3 to 16 treads (the platform is always counted as a tread) you can be sure to choose the height that fulfils your business requirements best.
Choosing the correct size of access equipment is an important addition to any company that stores items at height, and our tailored range can eliminate the need for dangerous over reaching and stretching.
The operator platform on all of our heavy-duty mobile safety steps is generously sized – 380mm x 550mm – and comes fitted with 900mm high handrails, ensuring that your staff stay safe.
Ladder inspections: keeping your heavy-duty mobile safety steps safe
Our heavy-duty mobile safety steps are designed to be hard-wearing whether used indoors or for outdoor application. But, that doesn’t mean they don’t need looking after.
Like every piece of access equipment, warehouse ladders and heavy-duty mobile safety steps need regular ladder inspections to ensure they stay in perfect working order.
If you use your ladders frequently, or every day, you’ll need to book in for a regular three-monthly ladder inspection. For occasional use, this can be reduced to every six months; and for infrequent use, every 12 months.
Booking a ladder inspection with Browns Ladders is easy, simply contact a member of our team today or simply open the instant chat function at the bottom of the page.
