Get ready for Health & Safety Week 2015
17/04/2015
Optimum health and safety in the workplace is one thing we’re passionate about at Browns Ladders. That’s why we offer safety training courses and stock only the best in access equipment, ensuring that you stay safe at work 100% of the time.
To celebrate Health & Safety Week 2015, we thought we’d share some key points about the event and how your business might like to get involved.
Health & Safety Week 2015 takes place between 15th-19th June and aims to inspire excellence in employers and employees, encouraging them to embrace better health and safety in the workplace.
While there have been many improvements in this space over the last 40 years, since the Health and Safety at Work Act was introduced, there’s still room for improvement.
Look after your employees and your business
Optimum health and safety isn’t just about looking after the wellbeing of workers, it’s about supporting business too.
Proper health and safety doesn’t just save lives, it saves money and keeps businesses functioning at their best.
From DSE assessments to wellbeing initiatives – such as encouraging regular breaks and carrying out stress assessments for all employees – there are plenty of ways you can get involved.
Health & Safety Week 2015 provides businesses with a great opportunity to learn more about the topic.
You may wish to visit the Safety & Health Expo at London’s Excel, on 16th-18th June, or choose to do something closer to home with local training courses or group sessions on widely available health and safety factsheets.
Refresh your knowledge with one of our training courses
Perhaps you’d like to refresh your health and safety knowledge this year to coincide with Health and Safety Week 2015?
At Browns Ladders we have a wide range of safety training courses available, all designed to keep your employees safe and well in the workplace.
From more generic courses such as Working at Heights Training, Manual Handling and Emergency First Aid, right through to training targeted towards the use of specific equipment, for example, Abrasive Wheels training and In House Mobile Towers safety training – we’ve got it all at Browns Ladders.
What’s more, all of our training is carried out by experienced, qualified professionals and can be run to suit your company’s needs.
We can provide training at our approved training centre or at your location. Our half-day courses also make an attractive option for an offsite day, with half a day dedicated to key safety training, leaving you with half a day to enjoy a more sociable activity afterwards.
To find out more about any of our training courses visit our website. You can send a booking request to us online, or call us on 01282 615 517.
