Following the royals – step-by-step
10/07/2013
Press representatives covering the royal family birth are hoping for an elevated view of the royal baby – shelling out on a huge amount of step ladders this month.
In preparation for the royal birth, there are now rows and rows of metal step ladders appearing outside the doors of the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington.
Even though Kate Middleton’s baby is not due for a couple of weeks, the Londoners are taking no chances.
Press officials have been buying the step ladders so they can stand on them with their cameras the moment the child is born.
Camped there since the beginning of July, we’re wondering how they are passing the time until the Duchess gives birth.
If you decide to do the same and secure your spot for the Royal Birth, you could be waiting up to a month – so we think a work platform is better than a step ladder – after all it can double up as a bed.
